Getting started
Arcaboks is ready to use in five steps. Each step is explained below.
- Charge arcaboks.
- Switch it on.
- Set the time.
- Set the mode.
- Place arcaboks.
Charging
- Plug the USB-C cable into the USB-C port .
- Plug the other end into a USB power adapter, such as your phone charger. The charging light lights up red.
- Leave it to charge until the charging light goes out. The battery is now full.
A full battery lasts 4 to 12 weeks, depending on how often the sound plays.
When the battery is empty, arcaboks stops singing.
You can keep using it while it charges.
On, off and volume
Turn the volume wheel up to switch arcaboks on. Keep turning it up to make it louder, or down to make it quieter. Turn it all the way down to OFF to switch it off. While it is off, the clock keeps running and arcaboks remembers the mode. The sensor cannot be switched off separately.
Setting the time
Arcaboks has a 24-hour clock.
- Press the clock button . The hours flash.
- Set the hours with + and −. Press and hold + or − to change them quickly.
- Press the clock button again. The minutes flash.
- Set the minutes with + and −.
- Wait 5 seconds without pressing anything. The time is saved.
Setting the mode
Press the mode button . Each press selects the next mode and plays its sound. The order is: morning, afternoon, evening, night, auto mode. You can recognise auto mode by a short beep before the sound starts. Arcaboks remembers the mode you choose.
In auto mode, arcaboks picks the sound that suits the time of day:
- morning: 06:00 to 11:00
- afternoon: 11:00 to 18:00
- evening: 18:00 to midnight
- night: midnight to 06:00
Placing arcaboks
Place arcaboks indoors, standing up or hanging on a screw using the mounting hole . Choose a spot you walk past, not behind a door or in a corner.
How the sensor works
When you walk in, the sound starts. It plays for 120 seconds and then stops by itself. If there is still movement after that, it starts again. The sensor reacts to movement and body heat, not to light. The display lights up while the sound is playing.
Care
Clean arcaboks with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Troubleshooting
Arcaboks does nothing
- Charge the battery.
- Check that the volume wheel is not set to OFF.
The sound does not start when I walk in
- Place arcaboks where there is movement, not behind a door or in a corner.
- Turn up the volume.
The sound does not match the time of day
- Check that the time is set correctly.
- Press the mode button until you hear the short beep that signals auto mode.

Disposal and recycling
The battery is built into arcaboks, so do not dispose of arcaboks with household waste. Take the whole device to a collection point for electrical equipment.
